Hi,
Spinning around with the latest ax25tools to get my tnc3s going.
I found out how the mkiss program works out for connecting the tnc3 to the computer.
root@raspberrypi:/home/pi/linbpq# mkiss -s 19200 -x 1 /dev/ttyAMA0 /dev/ptmx
Awaiting client connects on:
/dev/pts/5 /dev/pts/6
root@raspberrypi:/home/pi/linbpq# kissattach /dev/pts/5 2 44.137.86.1
AX.25 port 2 bound to device ax1
root@raspberrypi:/home/pi/linbpq# kissattach /dev/pts/6 2 44.137.86.2
AX.25 port 2 bound to device ax2
root@raspberrypi:/home/pi/linbpq#
ttyAMA0 is in this case my uart of the raspberry but could be ttyUSB0 or so for a usb <-> rs232 converter.
must say i did not have the change to test it on RF but will do soon.
hope this info comes in handy..
